Cinemagraphs: detail in motion

One of the things I love about cinemagraphs is how well they illustrate the power of the smallest detail to tell a story.  Why are these keys left in the lock like this?  Clearly whoever opened the door just left, since the keys are still in motion.  Why didn’t they close the door all the way?  Did they even make it inside?
