Not a bad start! I’m noticing that, since this is a sequel, it’s important to put in enough information about the characters and the premise so readers that have not read the first book can follow along, and not so much where those who have get bored. Jim Butcher does that masterfully in every installment of the Dresden Files, so that’s the model I’m going after.
